Week 7

Dear Samson class,

I hope you and your family have had a good weekend.

Please find below some activities that you may want to look at with your child and encourage them to take part in during the week - if you look at week 6 and download the Home Learning Intentions attachment you can see the suggested order of the tasks.

Spelling Shed and Mathletics

Activities have been set for the week - please continue to encourage your children to do these.

Ninja Maths

I have uploaded 5 worksheets these do not need to be printed the children can do these on scrap paper if it is easier (will hopefully save some ink). I have also uploaded the answers - the children are used to me using this PowerPoint in class - if they start the presentation and click on the correct week and session they will be able to find the timer and then answers at the end of the 5 minutes.

This Friday (8th May) we will be commemorating the 75th anniversary of VE Day - when the guns fell silent at the end of war in Europe during WWII.  I have added a link to the art section of this weeks learning intention to create 'Great British Bunting' to commemorate this event.

It has been great seeing the photos of the home learning, as well as other activities which the children have been doing which have been sent to the home learning email, I look forward to seeing more this week.

Take care and have a great week,

Mr Leighton-Scott
